A short city loop by bike.
An easy ride designed around stops, not distance.
Choose three anchors
Pick a park, a stretch of water and a place for coffee. Connect them using marked cycle paths where possible. Keep the total distance short enough that the ride still feels appealing if the wind turns.
Build in a stop
Park somewhere that leaves room for others and take a proper break. A city loop is a way to visit a neighbourhood, not just travel through it. Walk the final part if the street is busy.
Finish close to home
End the loop within an easy ride of your starting point. Check weather and lights before leaving, and remember that a route can be shortened. The best loop is the one you want to ride again.
These are adaptable route ideas, not live navigation. Use public paths, check local conditions and respect cycle signs.
